The Brno Arena, which happens to be one of the most important strategic projects of the city, has been thoroughly designed as a multifunctional space, allowing for a wide spectrum of activities and events. “Apart from hockey, sports that can be played here include handball, tennis, volleyball, basketball and floorball. Here spectators could even attend a boxing match, for instance. This space will meet the strict criteria of the international federations of every type of sport,” shared Markéta Vaňková, the Mayor of Brno, while adding: “Sports aside, we’re also expecting quite a few concerts and social events to be held here every year. These events are a must for the arena’s successful operation, and according to the information I have from our Brno organisers, they are quite realistic.”
