The multifunctional Arena was designed to be extremely modern and has multifaceted usability. Together the companies of A PLUS a. s. and Arch.Design, s. r. o. are preparing the project for joint land management and acquiring building permits.
The entire technical equipment of the structure is designed in such a way that sporting, cultural and social events may be held here both practically and economically. Construction is located in the western section of the Brno Exhibition Centre ‒ the goal is to create a modern portion of this city in this location. The arena is in the shape of an oval, measuring in at 152 × 109 metres. Maximum capacity is 13,300 spectators, when you include the arena’s floor level, where people can stand during concerts or events. The arena’s capacity for hockey games is 12,714 spectators. Food options, shops and other services will be at the disposal of visitors to the arena. The investor of the project is the statutory city of Brno through municipal companies.
